Navigating Relationships
Healthy relationships are so important to having a good quality of life, but they can sometimes be hard to navigate. It takes both people to create an environment of mutual respect, trust, honesty, and support, the foundation of healthy relationships. If there has been a history of aggression, abuse, or general negativity within your relationships, and you want to create change, this is the group for you.
Who Should Attend This Program?
If you, or someone you know, struggles with:
- Relationship issues
- Employment issues
- A history of being in violent relationships
- Anger management
- Difficulty communicating
- Appropriate conflict resolution
- Violent and controlling behaviours
- Negative thoughts and feelings towards oneself or others
Please join us in gaining tools, insight, and support to create positive change within all types of relationships in your life.


Program Goals
- Learn about and discuss the characteristics of healthy and unhealthy relationships
- Discuss and explore real-life situations unique to you
- Use positive coping mechanisms
- Use appropriate communication styles
- Understand your role in creating and maintaining healthy relationships
Learn through activities, video clips, open discussion, PowerPoint, and personal examples.
Program Commitment
You are responsible for:
- Attending weekly
- Attending on time
- Participating to your fullest ability
- Respecting the confidentiality of other members in the group
- Respecting yourself and other members of the group
- Attending the program without the company of an intimate partner or friend, as it promotes a more open and honest conversation within the group
Program fee: $150
A certificate is provided after successful completion of the program.
